Applied Power and Controls, Inc. performed field investigation design services for system wide instrumentation and control upgrades. Duties included analysis and documentation of existing conditions of instrumentation and controls at over twenty-five (25) pumping stations and water treatment plants. Also, included electrical distribution systems interface for power transformers, switchgear, motor protection and start-stop signals. Developed numerous P&ID diagrams and control schematics. Also, developed and updated numerous one-line diagrams of the electrical distribution systems. Also provided technical assistance for start-up of remote site telemetry systems, as well as, calibration services. We have worked at various sites throughout the Department on this project including Treated Water, Pumping Stations, Waste Water Treatment Plant and Remote Telemetry Sites. We have been involved on all stages and phases of project, from design to build and maintain.
